Support is not an emergency service and does not answer questions about your health. In an emergency call your local emergency number.
Tell us which platform you are on (iOS or Android), the app version shown in Settings, and what you expected to happen instead of what happened. A screenshot with anything private cropped out helps more than a long description.
Do not send us your entries, your password or your app PIN. We never need them, and for a profile you keep local-only we could not read them anyway.
On your device, in storage backed by the iOS Keychain and the Android Keystore, and excluded from device backups. A profile reaches our servers only if you switch cloud sync on for it, and then over HTTPS to our own backend — not to iCloud, Google Drive or Firebase.
Because the app's data is deliberately kept out of device backups and out of Android device-to-device transfer, a restored phone does not bring the journal with it. A profile with cloud sync switched on comes back when you sign in. A local-only profile has to be exported from the old device before you part with it.
No. Text recognition runs on the device: the picture is processed in memory, the text you confirm is saved, and the image is discarded. Card photos you choose to keep stay encrypted inside the app on your device.
On the PIN screen choose “Sign in with password”. The PIN lock is reset, and once you have signed in you can set a new one. Nothing in your journal is lost by doing this.
No, and we will not try. The app is not a medical device: it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and it does not replace professional medical advice. Take the question — and the copy you exported — to a qualified healthcare professional. Anything about the app itself, we can help with.
In the app: Settings → Privacy → Delete account. It takes effect immediately, and a scheduled purge removes the data irreversibly after 30 days. The full description is on our account deletion page.
Write to [TODO: contact email pending] with “security” in the subject line and enough detail to reproduce it. Please test only against your own account: do not access, alter or delete anyone else's data while looking.
We answer in writing, in the languages this site is written in. A published target response time is one of the items still to be confirmed before release.
